These terms and conditions relate to the membership, earning, redemption and other rules of the Family Club loyalty program.
» Article 2 – Terms and conditions acceptance
The use of the Family Club loyalty card signifies the acceptance of the following terms and conditions that the subscriber acknowledged having read and accepted at the time of Family Club’s registration.
» Article 3 – Membership
The Family Club loyalty Program is free to join. You can join by picking up a Key Tag in Family Food Centre Outlets, for any person who is 18 years and above of age. The subscriber will be issued with three physical cards with the same loyalty account number, to the subscriber and the household.
To join Family Club, the subscriber must be registered on the loyalty website www.familyclub.qa or in store by completing the information of the Family Club registration form. The registration is validated within 24 working hours. We will set up a Loyalty account to record the points collected or spent by you (the “Primary Cardholder”).
The Family Club loyalty card cannot be duplicated and/or used for any purposes other than those provided for in these terms and conditions. The loyalty card may not be transferred or used by anyone other than its subscriber and members of the household, for any reason.
» Article 4 – Earning
In order to collect points, the loyalty card must be handed to the checkout service before payment, so that the Family Club loyalty account number can be entered for initiating the transaction.
The Family Club loyalty card allows its card holder to earn points:
1 point for every 1 Qatari Riyal spent and making qualifying purchases at participating stores in the Doha Qatar.
Card holder cannot earn points during the following scenario:-
In conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discounted rate, unless otherwise stated.
Family Food Centre Management & Staff are not eligible for Family Club Points
We will send regular updates of your account balance including collected and spent points. We will correct your Loyalty account if we are satisfied that it is inaccurate, our decision is final.
» Article 5 – RedemptionIn-store Rewards
Only Primary account members with a registered Family Club Loyalty account are able to redeem for Family Club rewards.
Family Club Points can be redeemed in-store with specified rewards as detailed online at www.familyclub.qa.
To redeem in-store, members must present their Family Club key tag and correctly answer account security questions, as well as present photographic ID proof.
Members will need to ensure their personal and contact details are up-to-date on their Family Club Loyalty account to pass the security validation.
On the condition that the loyalty account is registered, when the card holder accumulates 5000 points which is minimum for redeeming, he will automatically be eligible for a 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty voucher. This 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty voucher can be used against the card holder’s purchase in participating outlets for an amount greater or equal to 50 Qatari Riyal within the expiry date specified on the loyalty voucher.
Family Club Loyalty Points are redeemable in-store only and cannot be used to purchase goods over the phone or via website.
Reward options may be withdrawn or amended without prior notice.
Rewards prices may be amended at any time.
The rewards are subject to availability, suppliers’ warranties and restrictions at the time of redemption.
The 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty voucher is nonrefundable & cannot be exchanged for cash & no change will be given.
Sales Billed through familyclub rdemption cannot be return in any circumstances.
Each 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty voucher is linked to the loyalty account & Points will automatically be deducted from the members account at the time of redemption.
The value of your redemptions cannot exceed the total value of your purchase.
Redeemed voucher has to be used on the same date as shown on the Voucher.
Once the redemption has been processed it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Standard terms and conditions also apply.

» Article 6 – Points & Accounts ExpiryAnnual Points Expiry Policy
Family Club has an annual point Expiry Policy, which is calculated as First in First out.
e.g. All Points earned from 1st May 2016 up to 31st May 2016 will be subject to expiry on 31st May 2017.
Twelvemonth Inactive Account Expiry Policy
We may close any Family Club Loyalty account on which no points have been collected or redeemed for a continuous period of 12 months. Upon account closure, any points in such account will expire.
» Article 7 – Loyalty account information
Once the 24 hour registration period has passed, the card holder can access his loyalty account information:
At the customer service desk On each receipt: information on previous and new points balance, points earned, 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty voucher redeemed and awaiting collection will be available.
On his personal loyalty space at www.familyclub.qa information on previous and new points balance, points earned, 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty voucher redeemed and awaiting collection, personal details given at the time of registration.
The card holder can modify his personal details anytime via the following: –
At the Customer Service Kiosk available in-store.
By call us on our Customer Service Number.
By Logging in to the Customer Loyalty Account.
» Article 8 – Claim and item refund
In case of a card holder contesting missing point, 50 Qatari Riyal loyalty vouchers, points balance, the card holder have seven days to formulate his claim to the concerned store or to the Customer Service Desk.
At the time of returning the faulty item, the card holder has to quote the Family Club Loyalty account number or Card number along with the Invoice copy provided at the time of the redemption as a reference.
In case of an item being refunded, the points earned for that item will be deducted from the loyalty account. If the loyalty account does not have sufficient number of points to deduct from the account, then the number of missing point will be marked as negative point in the respective customer’s account..
» Article 9 – Loss, theft, damage
We cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, damage or unauthorized use of Family Club Card or rewards, if this occurs then card holder must immediately inform the store. Replacement Family Club Card / Key Tags can be provided at our discretion.
Any points accrued on the lost, stolen or damaged loyalty card at the time of the declaration will be transferred to the new loyalty account.
» Article 10 – Removal
The Family Club loyalty card is the property of FAMILY FOOD CENTRE W.L.L.
Family Food Centre W.L.L., reserve the right to terminate membership, removes the loyalty account and all acquired benefits should any of the following events occur, that a Card Member:
has breached these terms and conditions;
has supplied false or misleading information to FAMILY FOOD CENTRE W.L.L
In this case the card holder will lose all the acquired benefits and any right of use.
If the registration is not done within 30 days following the first use of the card or Family Club loyalty card is not used during a continuous period of 12 months, FAMILY FOOD CENTRE W.L.L. will remove the loyalty account and the card holder will lose all the acquired benefits and will not be able to use his Family Club loyalty card anymore.
If a card holder wishes to close his Family Club loyalty account, he could return his cards in store with a written notification stipulating his demand, his name, last name, loyalty account number and signature.
» Article 11– Responsibility
FAMILY FOOD CENTRE W.L.L. is exempted from any responsibility for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any malfunction; nevertheless it will do the best to keep all the card holder’s acquired benefits.
FAMILY FOOD CENTRE W.L.L. is exempted from any responsibility for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any fraudulent use or non-accordance use with these terms and conditions.
» Article 12- General
This card is the property of Family Food Centre W.L.L., This Card is not a credit Card and it can neither transferred or be sold.
We will notify you of changes to your Family Club Loyalty account via your monthly statement.
The Family Club Loyalty Account has no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred or otherwise dealt with except in accordance with these terms and conditions.
These terms and any disputes or claims arising out of, or in connection with, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the Qatar.
» Article 13 – Terms and conditions modification or cancelation
FAMILY FOOD CENTRE W.L.L. reserves the right to modify or cancel some or all of these terms and conditions.
